Project Portfolio Manager

Job description and what you’ll do:

IN3 is growing, and we’re looking for a Project Portfolio Manager to help IN3 execute critical programs for the Department of Defense.  You’ll work with the Director of Federal Programs and other IN3 personnel on the performance and management of projects for our key customers and stakeholders.  As the organization grows, you’ll have the opportunity expand your responsibilities and gain critical experience in your field.  This is a startup environment, and we reward success.


Who you are/what you have:

  • Evidence of success managing projects, particularly in IT/software implementation/process improvement
  • Experience with a variety of project management paradigms, especially Agile Project Management
  • Experience managing project of $10M and larger with distributed teams and many subcontractors
  • Experience with a variety of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project).
  • Ability to assist with the development and tracking of key performance and financial metrics to ensure project success
  • Ability to develop and coordinate detail project plans
  • Ability to work independently, in an unstructured environment, with multiple concurrent demands on your time

Required qualifications to apply:

  • United States Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret level clearance or other government agency equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ project/program management experience with evidence of increasing responsibility; experience managing projects or programs with the Federal Government preferred
  • Previous or current PMP or equivalent certification
  • BS degree in a technical/engineering field
